Charles Cooper is VP of The Rockley Group, Inc. He has been involved in creating and testing digital content for more than 20 years. He works with companies to help them understand their content and ensure that it can be intelligently created, managed and published quickly and consistently – and still meet the needs of their customers.
He’s passionate about the user experience and is fascinated by the changing marketplace and the ways people expect to receive information. He has a large and growing collection of mobile and wearable devices and is constantly testing new ones to see how they can be used to deliver content.
He teaches, facilitates modeling sessions, and develops taxonomy and workflow strategy. He loves to figure out challenging delivery issues.
He is co-author of a number of books, including the ground-breaking Managing Enterprise Content: A Unified Content Strategy, DITA 101: Fundamentals of DITA for Authors and Managers and eBooks 101: The Digital Content Strategy for Reaching Customers Anywhere, Anytime, on Any Device. Cooper wrote the section on Adaptive Content for the recent collaborative publication The Language of Content Strategy.
